I've been working with sound for over eight years — in studios, on stages, on both sides of the camera. What drives me isn't just the technology, but what happens when sound truly connects: music becomes tangible, a voice gains weight, a moment takes on a new dimension. That's what it's all about.

What brought me here.

2007 – 2020

Musical Education

Music education in early childhood, then 12 years of guitar lessons and many years in the school band. This is where everything started — not with technology, but with a passion for making music.

2018

The First DAW

After the first self-produced song, there was no stopping: the entry into arrangement, mixing and the production process — out of pure curiosity, without a curriculum, but with boundless creativity.

2022

Degree – B.A. Sound, Music and Production

At Hochschule Darmstadt, I began a systematic study of studio technology, microphone techniques, and production. The foundation for everything that followed.

2023

Plansch XXL Festival

System engineer, set-up/breakdown and technical operation of a two-day festival with over 1,000 children and young people across two stages. The largest live production I had been involved in up to that point.

2024

Jazz Fest at H-Da

As sound engineer responsible for preparations and broadcast mixing across two festival days — with a live audience and simultaneous YouTube stream.

2024

Internship – Playroom Studios Frankfurt

Five months in a professional recording studio. Music, podcast and sound design at industry level — the closest look at the day-to-day of commercial production.

Tutor for Podcast Production & Format Development

Teaching responsibility for students in the Format Development & Podcast Production module. Independently guiding students through complex planning and production processes — from the first idea to the finished pilot episode.

Since 2024

Freelance – Frithjof Audio Production

Official launch as a freelance audio engineer. Music, podcast, live — from a single source, with one point of contact and full commitment.

2025 & 2026

Podcast Lab – Academy of Sciences and Literature, Mainz

Co-trainer alongside author and journalist Dennis Gastmann. Science communication through podcast format — guiding young researchers into the studio and onto air.

2025

Tonmeistertagung – Düsseldorf

Installation and operation of the Neumann Ultra-HD Immersive Room at the most important professional conference in the audio industry. One of the most advanced 3D audio setups in existence.

2025

Bachelor's Thesis – Grade 1.0 (A+)

Independent development of a new method for precise directional imaging in the stereo field — from measurement to model to a functional prototype and a concluding listening study. Completed with a grade of 1.0 (A+).

RealPan – Audio Plugin in Development

The panning model from the bachelor's thesis is becoming a product. A tool for more precise stereo panning — developed for professional use, born from real research into a real problem.
